Ich werde über meine Projekte zu Kunst und Erinnerung sprechen. Es geht um meine Erfahrungen aus meinen Erinnerungsprojekten in Deutschland, dem Baltikum, in Suedamerika und in den USA. Ich werde die Unterschiede in den verschiedenen Erinnerungskulturen, die mir begegnet sind, aufzeigen, aber auch das Gleiche und vor allem die Vergeblichkeit und die Grenzen aller künstlerischen Versuche, der Erinnerung habhaft zu werden. Sie fliesst uns doch immer wieder davon.

I will introduce my projects about art and commemoration. It will deal about my experience with these art projects in Germany, in the Baltic region, in South-America and in the USA. I will point out the difference between cultures of commemoration i came across, i will also point out the similarities and the impossibility and the borders of all artistic apporaches »to catch
