Place as a Poetic Mode of Being (DAsein) on 8.12.

UrbanDA is a temporary research group that understands Place as a Poetic Mode of Being (DAsein). They were recently in Brazil to participate in "Corpocidade: debate on urban aesthetics", an event that focused on the role of the body's presence in the city, particularly when articulating cultural politics and urban territories. In a series of drifts throughout Salvador, UrbanDA initiated situational dialogues with their embodied multiple inner landscapes, including those of Weimar. They used languages made of impossible translations, where clichés, sensibilities and affections (e)merged. Re-drawing private geographies, this experiment located and blended frontiers between cultures, perceptions and rhythms. urbanDA is: Daniela Brasil, Theresa Dietl, Catherine Grau, Otto Hernandez, Katrin Karioth, Bernhard König, Carlos Leon-Xjimenez, Sven Müller.
